Download an Enriched Press List

The enriched download combines imported fields with reporter data PitchFriendly has collected or validated. Downloading does not wait for background enrichment, so a list can contain a mix of completed and pending records.

Download the current list

Open the pitch and use its download menu:

  • Download List exports the current reporter data, including enrichment and validation fields.
  • Download Original exports the source list as it was uploaded.

The primary download is an XLSX workbook. The download endpoint also supports CSV output.

The export contains 21 fixed columns

Identity and contact fields

  • First Name and Last Name
  • Email, with the highest-priority valid address listed first when available
  • Phone
  • Email 2 and Email 3, when additional addresses are available

Publication and research fields

  • Publication and Publication URL
  • Title
  • Categories
  • Twitter, LinkedIn, and URL
  • Last Article At
  • Notes

Validation and enrichment fields

  • Email Status and Email Confidence
  • Email 2 Status and Email 3 Status
  • Enrichment Status and Enriched At

Empty cells mean PitchFriendly has no value for that field in the current reporter record.

An exported value or validation status does not confirm that the reporter still covers the topic, works at the listed outlet, or uses the address for pitches. Verify those details before outreach.

Email Status describes the validation result

  • Valid: The address passed validation.
  • Invalid Domain: The domain does not exist or does not accept email.
  • Mailbox Not Found: The domain exists, but the mailbox was not found.
  • Temporary Email: The address uses a disposable email service.
  • Generic Role Email: The address is role-based, such as info@ or contact@.
  • Validating...: Validation is pending.
  • Check Failed: PitchFriendly could not complete the check.

Email Confidence appears as a percentage when a numeric confidence score is available. Otherwise, the export can contain a named confidence level or an empty value.

Enrichment Status shows processing state

  • Complete: Enrichment finished for the reporter.
  • In Progress: Enrichment is still running.
  • Failed: Enrichment did not complete. Imported data remains in the record.
  • Not Started: Enrichment has not started for the reporter.

Download the list again after pending records finish to include their latest values.
