Pitch Insights aggregates your team's contact history for the reporters in a pitch. Check it before sending a new batch or assigning a follow-up.

Find Insights on the pitch page
The Insights card appears in the pitch workspace when the pitch contains reporters. Its summary shows:
- Reporters: The number of reporters in the pitch.
- Pitched last 30 days: The number of those reporters contacted by the team during the preceding month.
A green notice appears when PitchFriendly finds no team outreach for the reporters in the pitch.
Read each reporter's contact history
Each reporter row includes the total number of messages sent, replies received, and the most recent contact date. The team-member breakdown includes:
- The team member's name
- Their sent and reply counts for that reporter
- Their most recent contact date
- The subject of their most recent message, linked to its pitch
Recent contacts use background color as a recency cue:
- Red: Contacted within 24 hours
- Yellow: Contacted within two weeks
- Green: Contacted more than two weeks ago
These colors describe timing. They do not prevent another message from being sent.
Sort by the question you need to answer
- Most Recent orders reporters by the latest team contact.
- Most Contacted orders reporters by sent-message count.
- A-Z orders reporters by name.
Use Most Recent to check for immediate overlap. Use Most Contacted to find established or heavily used contacts.
Expand older relationship history
Pitch Insights initially separates team-member contacts older than six months. It keeps the most recent team member visible when all contacts are older. Select the older-contact indicator to expand the remaining history.
